We offer 2 options:
1 – Instructional Charters -cruising lessons!
Our Vison 444ES is available this winter in the Bahamas for instructional charters with our husband and wife team, Tony & Claudia, founders of Tony Cook Adventures Global.
This type of charter allows you to experience the Vision 444ES doing overnight passages, open water cruising, and experiencing the downwind sails – Asymmetrical and the Code Zero. These charters are perfect for owner training, learning the live aboard lifestyle; This includes passage planning, using Navionics, provisioning the vessel, weather routing, anchoring, picking up a mooring ball, power management, and preventative maiantainance, all done in a comfortable live aboard environment.
This is not your average sailing charter – it’s a cruising experience!
All daily duties on deck and below are shared with your crew, under the watchful guidance of Captain Tony and 1st mate Claudia.
2 – Crewed Charters
Enjoy scenic views, beautiful islands, azure blue waters, and the adventure that lays ahead in the Bahamas. Captain Tony and 1stmate/chef Claudia have a wealth of expert local knowledge and nautical skills. They will ensure a safe and fun charter experience for everyone. 1st mate/chef Claudia offers casual breakfasts, light healthy lunches, and family style dinners. Sit back and relax as we journey through the islands on one of our beautiful catamarans. This is a superb family experience.
Your adventure starts in Marsh Harbour, Great Abaco. This is an excellent start point to visit the other islands of the Abacos including Elbow Cay, Man-O-War, Great Guana Cay, and many more. These islands are much less crowded than other major islands of the Bahamas and afford the opportunity to learn new skills and relax in a safe environment.
Meals:
Both instructional and crewed charters include a chef.
We will always have great coffee on board! Your 1st mate and chef is Italian, so expect great food!! On both charter versions we will provision for all meals and Chef Claudia will provide a menu from which you can choose meals accordingly. In addition to meals on board, we aim to spread the love and support local businesses – pay it forward by taking a few meals on shore and experience the local cuisine.
A cold beer or cocktail at sunset in the local pub is an essential way to end the day.
